Coached Legal Counsel over the Employment Law Team of Attorneys.  Company employee size 23,000+.  Leader was working through a reorganization, DE&I challenges, all while being told they needed to gain visibility enterprise wide at the executive level.  Our work together resulted in a plan and coaching sessions focused on building their network with additional senior leadership and executives, delegating, and leading the employment law team through the reorganization.  At the end of the coaching engagement, acting like an owner, driving sustained results, building commitment to decisions, empowering others to be their best selves, and executing with excellence increased 53%.  Manager observations shared, “taking a more proactive approach in identifying issues and leading discussions around solutions with stakeholders at all levels of leadership.”

Coached Sr. Director of Coding Compliance overseeing a team of direct reports in the healthcare industry.  Company employee size 5,000+.  Leader was given feedback they were not showing leadership at the enterprise level and were avoiding having difficult conversations.  Coaching conversations were focused on discussing strategy around workload.  Additional topics of discussion included managing time, communication, taking risks, and coaching their team.  At the end of the coaching engagement, setting goals, taking risks, and coaching the team increased 68%.  Manager observations shared, “lobbied for new leadership role to add to the team and got it, promoted a team member into the newly created role, and confidence grew exponentially.  Great example to their peers!”

Coached CFO for finance and technology start-up.  CEO and Board of Directors gave feedback to the CFO that they were creating an unhealthy workplace in their communication with others leading to feelings of anxiety and anger at all levels within the organization.  The CEO was in the process of deciding their career next steps.  Our work together centered on self-awareness, communication, emotional intelligence and their plan for continuing to develop in the area of effective communication.  The CEO and Board of Directors were impressed with their growth efforts to rebuild organizational relationships, trust and continue to develop interpersonal skills.

Coached a Product Design Executive at a global technology and finance organization.  Company employee size 51,000+.  Worked with the leader during an enterprise-wide reorganization to scale their leadership capabilities in the areas of strategic thinking and developing direct reports while leading two teams.  In addition, personal and organizational obstacles were identified that could potentially undermine the success of the organizations change efforts.  Strengths were also identified to capitalize on the impact.  We clearly defined a path for the leader to sharpen their relationship building, communication and influencing competencies while coaching, delegating, and stretching their teams to cover the complexity of the new organization.

The executive team of a security organization set the vision of whole person development for their senior leaders.  The enterprise was reorganizing and facing DE&I, leadership, emotional intelligence, product quality and timeline challenges, and were not operating at maximum effectiveness and performance levels. Through facilitated group coaching sessions, everyone was able to identify and generate awareness around their specific strengths and challenges.  Additionally, following the coaching program, the group was able to align teams around commitments, nurture the development of others, communicate effectively in highly emotional situations, trust respective teams with delegated work, and cross-functional collaboration was stronger.
